So what wouId be the bést way to gó aróund this Edit: Re-wroté it á bit ás it came acróss weird and rudé and waaaay óff. Where do you get your sample packs when youre just starting out Of course, there are a billion ways to go about this, but starting out, Im not willing to spend (much) money on it. And remember, with the eq you can do wonders: if you already have a kick drum and you are adding a loop that has a kick drum, you most likely have to cut the low’s from the loop to avoid the overlapping – probably using highpass filter set to cut frequencies around 200Hz and below.Glad you solved the slide note problem.I know some of you here are producing music as well and I was wondering. Or make it support them.īy that I mean, if you already have a kick, hihats and clap in your drum track, try to find a loop that has a little less hihats, kicks and claps – maybe some percussion loop instead. Thought it was strange but it works! Yea, that’s the downside of construction kits.īut of course, there’s always the possibility to turn the loops into something completely original by slicing, re-arranging and putting them through various effects.About using loops: try to find a loop that supports your kick, hats and claps. Maybe I should start with kicks and a loop and thennnnn throw in some light hats or whatever 😀 lolBy the way, I figured out my slide note situation.I set up my midi controler so the keys weren’t velocity sensitive (since I don’t record with it yet) and I had it set wrong or something but I changed it and it seems to be working fine. Ill make my own beat with kicks, hats, snares/claps etcthen realize it needs more so I’ll try and throw in a light loop, and it doesn’t sound good. Kits and if I were to try and make the original song with it, well I wouldn’t really feel proud of my work.which that would take away the fun and creativity! Also I keep messing up with loops lol. Yeah I agree with you on the construction kits.
